Advanced safety protections - This 9V battery charger for NiMH 9 volt batteries has a built-in safety timer (5 hours) protecting batteries from overcharging. Trickle charging will occur when complete to ensure the 9V square batteries stay fully charged. Managed by a Microprocessor Control Unit (MCU), each individual bay has integrated circuit and polarity protection with -delta V detection.
         
Smart charging  A microprocessor control unit chip enables individual charging and also protects against overcharging with a safety timer and trickle charging.
