This Network Cable Tester is capable of reading the pin configurations of 10 Base-T Cat5/5e and Cat6 cables, USB A/A and A/B cables, RJ45/RJ11 modular cables, TIA-568A/568B and Token Ring cables by comparing one transmitting end to the corresponding receiving end.
         
It can also test for open circuits, wire shorts and cable continuity. The remote kit can test cables that are on a patch panel or wall plate as well as be able to test cables from a distance up to 1000 feet.
         
Easy verification for cabling faults including discontinuity, open wires, shorts, mis-wiring and crossed pairs is quickly detected with the unique LED display. Includes an auto or manual scan for pinout indicators, battery use 6F22 9V 25MA (NOT INCLUDED).
         
Can also works for the grounding and shielded cables, BNC, RCA and Coax cables (request adaptor). Perform all the above tests on installed cables with the included remote terminator. Test cable installations up to 200 meters (656 feet).
